The 45th Annual NAACP Image Award winners were announced live during a two-hour special on Saturday evening on TV One.
Hosted by Anthony Anderson, the night’s presenters included Kevin Hart, Lupita Nyong’o, Tyler Perry, Michael Ealy, Tony Goldwyn, Arsenio Hall and Gabrielle Union.
Oprah Winfrey honored her late friend, activist and former South African president Nelson Mandela. She said being around him was like “sitting with the face of grace and majesty.” Stevie Wonder also honored the leader during his performance.
