In Football he Wives and Girlfriends (WAGs) tag, used to describe either a legally married wife or casual girlfriend of a high-profile footballer, entered popular usage following the World Cup in Germany in 2006. Famous African Footballers seem have embraced marriage, with most having settled down. We have thus decided to focus on the married ones.
