Yesterday afternoon, all roads led to Jomo Kenyatta Airport (JKIA) to welcome Sauti Sol back to the country. The award-winning Kenyan group was returning from the US after attending the prestigious BET Awards 2015, where they were nominated as Best International Act: Africa.
Their return marks just eight days ahead of their trip to Durban, South Africa for yet another prestigious award, MTV Africa Music Awards.
While in States, they met J B Smoove, Empire’s Jussie Smollett, Robin Thicke, Brandy, Ray J, Fally Ipupa, among others. The band also shot a new music video while in LA, to be released soon.
