Manchester United To Triple Toni Kroos Pay if He Agrees To Leave Bayern

tonManchester United are reportedly willing to pay Toni Kroos £250,000 per week to tempt the midfielder away from Bayern Munich, while the Old Trafford club are also being linked with a summer move for Barcelona’s Alex Song.
Last week United clung on to Wayne Rooney when the striker put pen to paper on a £300,000-a-week contract, and the Mirror claims manager David Moyes is again prepared to flex the club’s financial muscle to land Kroos, whose earnings would triple if he accepts the offer.
Bayern insist Kroos will see out his contract, which expires in 2015, however it is thought a fee of around £30million could persuade the European champion to change their minds.
The 24-year-old reminded Europe’s elite of his quality with a classy performance and fine goal in his side’s 2-0 Champions League victory at Arsenal last week.
Borussia Dortmund playmaker Ilkay Gundogan also continues to be linked with a summer Old Trafford switch, and, if reports in Spain are to believed, Moyes wants to add some steel to his midfield too.
Catalan paper Sport says United are chasing Barca’s former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song.
The 26-year-old left the Gunners for £15million in 2012 but is struggling for game time under current Barca boss Tata Martino and is open to a return to the Premier League.
And Sport claims Song’s agent, Darren Dein, the son of the former Arsenal vice-chairman David, has already discussed personal terms for his client with the Red Devils.
