Ugandan fans are unhappy after their second representative in Big Brother: The Chase left after just 14 days in the house. This is  the first time that Uganda has been evicted in the first two weeks of Big Brother Africa with radio host Denzel being the first one out along with Kenya’s Huddah, and now LK4 whose exit was more emotional when he left in the company of his BBA romantic interest, Koketso from South Africa.

According to DSTV, here is  what the public thinks of Uganda being out of the show after just a fortnight. Kampala party vixen Doreen Kabarebe who failed to make it through the auditions stage, thanked their two representatives for putting up a good fight! “It’s so bad that we are out, but thank you guys, you made us proud,” she said. Isaac Afidra who spoke on behalf of Dmark Power, the team that Lugudde aka LK4 plays for said: “The entire team is so sad that our LK4 left so early, we were banking on him, and voted endlessly. We played it well and we are ready to receive him.”

Josephine Nanyonga, a Policy Analyst at Law Development Centre and a great fan of Big Brother, believes that the problem is that Ugandans don’t vote. David Walukuba, a sub editor with The Investigator.co.ug an online tabloid, had a different opinion. “Denzel tried too much, then Lugudde failed to have a game plan.”  Ugandans on twitter, celebs included, wished the two evictees good luck in their future endeavours. Here are some of the quoted tweets from Uganda. “We watch still…loving the show. A big welcome back to LK4 and Denzel for Big Brother! They tried their best. I think Navio should give it a try next year now! Aha?”

“Stop saying Uganda didn’t vote, they were the only country that voted for Lk4 but he needed other countries too so you did all you could.” The game goes on, there are five nominees up for possible eviction on Sunday 16 June, who will your votes save?
